Hello All,

Asian signals rebounded quite nicely here this morning, with morning
enhancement favoring the low band Asian mainland stations. Both 603-HLSA and
657-Pyongyang had Chinese co-channels mixing with them around 1510, as
657-China (Henan?) was heard here for the first time in over 2 years.

My listening session started off around 1450, when both the low and high band
had some vibrant Asian signals. 594-JOAK, 603-HLSA and 657-Pyongyang were fair
to good on the low band, while 1566-HLAZ (very good) and 1575-VOA (good) were
potent on the high band. Around 1500 sunrise enhancement started to kick in,
which seemed to boost up the low band Asians, but make 1566-HLAZ and 1575-VOA
fizzle out (along with a weak 1593-CNR1). 603-China (Hulun Buir?) showed up to
pester fair-to-good HLSA around 1510, while 657-China did the same to a
fair-level Pyongyang a few minutes later. 558-HLQH also came out of the noise
// 603 to face the 560-KPQ splatter at a fair level. This strange sunrise
enhancement propagation continued until about 1530 with only these 3 low band
Asian frequencies showing much activity-- the high band Asians having all
bailed out around 1515. Overall it was a pretty strange morning, and it will be
interesting to find out what others heard.
