Hello All,

There was a distinct improvement in Asian propagation this morning compared
with the last couple of days, although it still wasn't anything really
exciting. There were some good TP signals on both the low and high bands,
though, with a fairly generous sunrise enhancement boost from 1440-1505.

My session started at 1420 with fair low band audio from 594-JOAK and 603-HLSA
already in, along with similar signals from 972-HLCA,1134-KBS, 1566-HLAZ and
1575-VOA. Increasing daylight around 1445 boosted the signals of most of these,
and also brought in fair signals from 657-Pyongyang and a presumed 738-BEL2 (in
Chinese, at 1502) as well. Unfortunately some local electrical noise kicked in
around 1445 on the very low band, but 603-HLSA (around S9 level) was strong
enough at 1448 to punch right through it with the typical Korean pop music.
657-Pyongyang's orchestral music was also strong enough to be heard in and out
of the hash at an anemic level, but the noise was enough to bury 594-JOAK's
fair signal for the duration. On the high band 1593-CNR1 also got a boost from
sunrise enhancement to reach a fair level around 1455, and 1566-HLAZ managed
very good signals at the same time. The strongest Asian signal of the morning
was from 603-HLSA, however, which demonstrated very p!
otent strength during sunrise enhancement to get through the local electrical
noise. Overall, the session seemed to favor the low band Asians, with only
1566-HLAZ showing much energy on the high band. Increasingly early daylight
caused all of the TP's to bail around 1510 here, with 1566-HLAZ the last one
standing.
