A survey conducted by Ibope Media and the Radio Commission has revealed that the mobile phone is now the second most widely used device in Brazil to listen to the radio, second only to the traditional device. The computer comes in third place. The research also indicates that the time slot with the highest listening for audio broadcasting on mobile phones was at 14:00 hr and for traditional equipment, the peak occurred at 10:00 hr. In one month, radio reached 15.7 million inhabitants in Sao Paulo aged over 10 years (88.62%). Also, in the Greater Sao Paulo area, 7.46 percent of the population listens to the radio on their mobile phone frequently.
