Hello All,

With the exception of fairly potent signals from 972-HLCA and 1566-HLAZ during
the predawn darkness there weren't very many strong Asians this morning, and
the mediocre sunrise enhancement propagation seemed to favor the Japanese more
than the Koreans. For the first time in quite a while, 603-HLSA failed to
manage any audio here.

1566-HLAZ and 972-HLCA had the best signals during the predawn darkness prior
to 1315, with both having good peaks in and out. The 1053 Jammer and 1134-KBS
were also managing fair audio at the time, and it seemed like it might be
another good morning for Korean signals. Propagation changed with the
increasing daylight around 1330, though, and the Koreans slowly slid down into
the noise, to be replaced on the low band with a collection of fair-level
Japanese big guns on 594, 693, 747 and 828. The usual regular 603-HLSA never
made it above carrier level, bailing with the rest of the Koreans around 1330.
594-JOAK was the strongest signal on the band for an extended period
(1330-1345), reaching brief good peaks along with 693-JOAB. Nothing close to
exotic surfaced for the entire session, and even the Japanese made an early
departure around 1350. Overall it was a pretty lackluster morning, with the
total absence of any audio from 603-HLSA very unusual here.
