Hello All,
Like Dennis has reported, it wasn't one of the better recent sessions for Asian
signals (but who can complain, when going against the odds in April at a
mediocre location like this?). The overall results were similar to Dennis'
dreary report, including the collective swoon of the Asians at the first sign
of daylight around 1315.
Around 1305 there were a few potent signals on the band, including 972-HLCA
(very good), the 1053-Jammer (good), 1134-KBS (good, in Vancouver splatter) and
1566-HLAZ (very good), Unlike Dennis I also had 594-JOAK at a fair level around
1310, as well as 693-JOAB with a similar signal. One of the unusual aspects of
the morning was the complete absence of any TP audio on 603, either from HLSA
or China (this has only occurred about 3 times in the past month, here). Around
1315 the Asians repeated yesterday's collective swoon, with almost all of the
signals either diving into the noise or dropping off to ghostly levels. By 1330
only 594-JOAK, 972-HLCA and the 1053-Jammer were still around, and all of them
had pathetic signals barely above the noise level. Best signal of the morning
was again from 1566-HLAZ around 1305, although 972-HLCA also had similar potent
audio during a few peaks prior to 1310.
