Hello All,

Low band Asians were the stars of a fairly generous sunrise enhancement session
here, with 594-JOAK especially vibrant. What sounded like a pretty dreary
session in the predawn darkness turned out to be rather interesting, with
603-HLSA and 738-BEL2 both showing up with fair audio during peaks.

At the 1230 UTC start time the band sounded a lot more sedate than yesterday,
with only 693-JOAB, 774-JOUB and 828-JOBB managing weak audio in and out. Both
972-HLCA and the 1053-Jammer were unusually subdued during this predawn
darkness, with all the Koreans generally staying in the noise until daylight.
Around 1305 propagation started to change dramatically as 594-JOAK (previously
silent) went on a potent romp, pegging the PL-380 S/N display briefly around
1312. 603-HLSA's deep-voiced male DJ made his first decent appearance of the
new season around 1314 playing typical Korean pop music, while 738-BEL2's
Chinese male announcer finally made a fair appearance at 1325 after the
740-KCBS fade out. During this generous sunrise enhancement 693-JOAB, 828-JOBB,
972-HLCA, the 1053-Jammer and 1134-KBS all had decent signals in and out,
although the high band big guns on 1566, 1575 and 1593 never seemed to get
untracked like the low band stations. Overall it was a fairly enjoyable
session, and it will be interesting to see how Asian signals showed up at other
areas.
