"It depends" as they always say. The current hybrid IBOC has digital trash in 3 bands: 0 to 5 kHz, 5 to 10 kHz and 10 to 15 kHz. The good news: all digital IBOC has no usage of the 10 to 15 kHz band. The bad news: all digital IBOC increases the power in the 0 to 6 kHz and 5 to 10 kHz bands.
