Hello All,

Once again Dennis and I seem to have gone our separate ways in TP-DXing
results, with different second-tier Asians showing up. Whereas Dennis seems to
have tracked down quite a few of the second-tier Japanese, here it was 603-HLSA
and 1044-CRI that managed fair to good audio. In general the Japanese big guns
still had the best signals on the band this morning, but their strength was
down from the potent levels of the past two days. The second-tier Korean and
Chinese stations did somewhat better than they did yesterday, but their levels
were still pretty modest, and their best audio was received in the total
darkness prior to 1330. Lack of any sunrise enhancement boost left these
signals floundering, with only the Japanese and Korean big guns left to finish
off the session after 1400.

At my 1235 start time the Japanese big guns on 594, 693, 747 and 828 were at
fairly modest levels, unlike the past two days. On the other hand 558-HLQH,
603-China, 657-Pyongyang, 738-BEL2 and 1044-CRI were in and out at fair levels,
having predawn signals significantly improved over their weekend levels.
1044-CRI's Japanese service was received at seasonal best strength (fair) at
1305, while 603-HLSA replaced China around 1325 with fair to good signals from
KBS2's deep-voiced male host. The session seemed promising until around 1340,
when all the second-tier Asians seemed to take a dive at the first appearance
of daylight. Sunrise enhancement was non-existent, and the Japanese and Korean
big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774, 828, 972, 1053 and 1287 were left to finish off
the session with moderately good signals up until propagation folded around
1430. Best signals of the session were again from the Japanese big guns
594-JOAK and 693-JOAB, but their strength was nowhere near that of the past
couple of days. For comparison purposes by the Grayland DXpedition group,
Saturday was by far the best day for Japanese and Korean propagation here, with
the Japanese big guns at exceptional levels. Sunday was another great day for
the Japanese big guns, but not so great for the Mainland Asian stations. This
morning was a pretty modest session for all the Asian areas, with no really
great propagation from either Japan, Korea or China.
