Hello All, First of all, congratulations to Richard in Oklahoma for his reception of 594-JOAK, 747-JOIB and 774-JOUB this morning-- certainly an amazing achievement so far inland (especially in this lean solar year). Asian signals were also improved here over yesterday's levels, with several second tier TP's joining the big guns in a fairly long-running sunrise enhancement session. At my 1305 start time the usual Japanese and Korean regulars on 594, 693, 747, 774, 972 and 1053 were in and out at good levels like they were yesterday, but they were joined by 603-HLSA (fair), 657-Pyongyang (fair), 738-BEL2 (poor to fair in KCBS splatter), and a somewhat unusual 1323-CRI (poor to fair with apparent Russian). At 1312 the Korean big gun 972-HLCA briefly pegged the PL-380 S/N with an excellent signal, and both 594-JOAK and 693-JOAB had their very good moments between 1305 and 1330. All these stations were in and out until just after 1400, when 603-China briefly joined HLSA in a weak mix. 603-HLSA's peak signal (fair to good) was at 1420 with the deep-voiced male in a monolog, while 972-HLCA continued to hit excellent levels in and out until 1450. Overall conditions weren't quite as good as two days ago, but 603-HLSA, 657-Pyongyang and 738-BEL2 still had weak audio as late as 1455. Best signal of the morning (by far) was from 972-HLCA at 1312, which continued to manage weak audio up until the 1500 TOH. 603 HLSA Namyang, S.
