Thanks for the BOG suggestion, Nick, but these three mornings will be a typical
Ultralight radio DXpedition-- minus the ocean cliff.

The lack of a cliff will mean the lack of cliff-provided domestic signal
rejection and cliff-side TP propagation enhancement, but the all-new 17"
DXpedition FSL antenna (which you saw at Guy's get-together in late August)
should have enough sensitivity to pull in a few Asians :-) Since my wife and
son aren't coming along I had the rare chance to stuff the Toyota Corolla with
the latest fanatical ULR DXpedition gear, including the 30" loopstick ICF-2010
spotting receiver and a 12" Longwave-optimized FSL antenna. Hopefully the long
weekend will feature some interesting signals for you, me and the LBI
DXpedition group.

If you could find 600' of wire you could get a
quick BOG down, Gary, the real estate is
there.     You might be pleasantly surprised..

Good luck.   It was pretty good reception there a
few weeks ago, and nobody was jumping up and down
then about conditions in town.

best wishes,

Nick
