Hello All,

Asian results here were similar to those reported by Dennis, but with the usual
differences between Kalama and Puyallup. Whereas Dennis had good signals on
594, 774, 828 and 1566, here the best performers were on 594, 972, 1566 and
1593. The high band seemed to be favored here, with 1593-CNR1 having decent
signals all the way up to 1600.

At my 1430 start time several low-band TP's had fair signals in and out,
including 594, 603 (HLSA), 693, 738 (BEL2) and 828. These generally stayed at a
modest level throughout the session, although 594-JOAK and 828-JOBB had brief
good peaks just prior to 1500. 972-HLCA had its best signals of the new year
(good) around 1505, while 1044-CRI's Japanese service hit some fair peaks
around the same time. After 1500 the high band got a serious boost here, with
1566-HLAZ's Chinese service and 1593-CNR1 both having good strength in and out.
1575-VOA was also there, but not at the same vibrant strength as the other two.
1593-CNR1 really got a boost after 1520, staying at a strong level well past
all the other Asians until it finally faded just after 1600. Altogether the
session was pretty interesting, and certainly better than the typical late
January doldrums.
