Hello All, High band Asian signals on 1503, 1566, 1575 and 1593 were the main attraction this morning, getting a fair boost from sunrise enhancement from 1515-1535. Low band TP's generally followed yesterday's pattern, however, as several promising signals seemed to fizzle with the daylight. At my 1430 start time 594-JOAK, 603-HLSA and 972-HLCA were once again in and out with fair peaks, although they couldn't seem to build up any sustained strength. On the high band 1566-HLAZ was already at a good level, while 1377, 1503, 1575 and 1593 had intermittent audio in the darkness. Increasing daylight around 1510 saw the low band TP's slide into the noise for the most part, although both 594 and 603 had a few fair audio peaks again around 1530. Almost all the sunrise enhancement action was on the high band, with 1503 (JOUK?) reaching fair peaks from 1515-1530, as well as 1566-HLAZ (good), 1575-VOA (fair) and a mix of CNR1 (dominant) and NHK2 on 1593. The identity of the signal on 1503 was uncertain; at times the speech sounded like something other than Japanese, but with rapid fades (and 594 on the skids) there was no way to be certain. Best Asian signal of the morning was from 1566-HLAZ around 1525, reaching good levels in and out with a Chinese male sermon during its Christian program. 1566 HLAZ Jeju, S.
