Paul, I picked up this station on April 22nd 1979 while living in Australia. I was on a DX-pedition to Port MacDonnel in South Australia right on the coast. There were three of us on this trip Sam Dellit, Harry Weatherley and myself listening on our Drake SPR-4's in those days with 600 metres beverage to Africa. That same morning we also logged 746 Voice of Kenya, 1368 Radio Seychelles, and Radio Vatican 1530, plus a lot of other Asians and African station. I have a recording some place on my tapes, will need to dig it up!
Thanks for the memories!! James Niven Austin, Texas -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Paul B.
