Hello All,

Congratulations to Richard in Oklahoma for his reception of 594-JOAK on his
PL-310 and 8" FSL-- always an excellent accomplishment so far inland. The low
band Asians also roared back to life here this morning as a potent sunrise
enhancement boost raised both 594-JOAK and  603-HLSA up to very good peaks
around 1435. The middle and high band Asians seemed to be overlooked somewhat
in the recovery from yesterday's doldrums, however.

At my 1420 start time the low band was already at potent levels, with 594, 603
and 693 all having good audio in and out. These continued to build up strength
as daylight increased prior to 1430, with 657-Pyongyang also coming out of the
noise to reach a fair level in and out. 603-HLSA hit its peak stride around
1435 with very good level Korean pop music // a fair level 558, while 594-JOAK
was equally vibrant with male-female Japanese conversation. Besides the low
band regulars the NHK big guns on 747, 774 and 828 managed brief good levels in
and out during peak sunrise enhancement around 1440, but the middle and high
band Asian big guns on 972, 1134, 1566 and 1593 stayed at poor to fair levels.
1566-HLAZ and 1593-CNR1 were hitting fair peaks at my 1415 start time but
fizzled somewhat as daylight increased, while 1503 and 1575 were pretty much
missing in action throughout the session. Increasing daylight caused everything
to fizzle by 1450, with the NHK diehards on 594 and 693 the last to sink under.
Overall it was definitely a low band morning, with 594 and 603 equaling their
best signals of 2015 so far.
