Hello All,

Despite Brian's earlier reception of 774 and 1566 in Arizona it was the low
band Asians receiving a sharp sunrise enhancement boost here around 1420,
temporarily raising 594-JOAK up to an excellent level, and 603-HLSA up to very
good peaks in and out. The high band received no such boost, however, and even
the middle band Korean regulars on 972 and 1134 struggled to get out of the
noise.

At my 1410 start time daylight was already fairly bright, and 594-JOAK was
setting the pace with good-level Japanese conversation in and out. The other
low band regulars on 603 and 693 took a few minutes to get untracked but they
also started managing good peaks by 1415. On the other hand the middle and high
band Asians seemed anemic indeed, with only a few fair peaks from 1134-KBS and
1575-VOA at my 1410 start time. 594-JOAK continued to build up strength to an
S9 level by 1420, while 603-HLSA's Korean pop music rode the same propagation
boost up to about S7 a few minutes later. 657-Pyongyang even came out of the
noise briefly with a few fair peaks of its spooky female vocal music around
1425, and 693-JOAB was reaching very good levels with Japanese conversation
about the same time. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there, with the
middle and high band failing to really get untracked during the entire session.
972, 1134 and 1566 were all missing in action except for ghostly threshold
audio, while 1575-VOA was down in the noise after 1415. Only the low band
regulars had any real strength, and they didn't have it for very long. 594-JOAK
was the star of the session with its S9 level interval music around 1420, and
it was also the last Asian to bail out around 1440. It wasn't exactly an
exciting session, but who is complaining in early March?
