Hello All, It was primarily a big gun morning here with Asian signals on 594, 693 and 972 getting a decent boost with the increasing daylight around 1410. 594-JOAK was the star of the short session, reaching a very good level during most of sunrise enhancement from 1410-1425. Once again there were several Asians in audio at my 1405 start time, but only a few of them had any real energy. Besides the pacesetters on 594, 693 and 972 there were anemic signals from 603-HLSA and 747-JOIB in the predawn twilight, along with a lackluster 1566-HLAZ (which soon fizzled for the duration). 1593-CNR1 also managed a few fair peaks before bailing around 1415, but in general the high band was mediocre at best. 594-JOAK rose up to a potent level around 1411 with Japanese male speech, while 693-JOAB's English lessons were also managing good peaks around the same time. 972-HLCA was the third Asian to reach a vibrant level with Korean female speech around 1425, but it was generally getting hammered by the 970-Portland pest. Like yesterday 1044-CRI's Japanese service reached threshold audio briefly around 1420 but never could stick around, while unlike yesterday 657-Pyongyang's spooky music stayed down in the noise (maybe that's not a bad occurrence). All the Asians bailed well before 1440, with 594-JOAK the last to sink into the noise around 1435. Overall the session was lacking in much variety, but since early March isn't exactly the peak season it's probably best to be thankful for the diehard TP's that did show up. 594 JOAK Tokyo, Japan Japanese male speech at a very good level at 1411; best Asian signal of the session http://www.mediafire.com/listen/v6bgf44blovl6t1/594-JOAK-1411z030615CCSW.MP3 972 HLCA Dangjin, S.
