Hello All,

As usual Bruce's propagation in Seattle seems to be at odds with what showed up
here. A fairly sharp sunrise enhancement after 1400 boosted the usual Japanese
big guns on 594 and 693 up to very good levels, along with a few weaker
performers on 603, 657 and 1053.

The frozen back yard featured quite a few Asians in audio at my 1400 start
time, although none of them sounded very energetic. The 1053-Jammer made a
brief appearance at 1401 for the first time this new year, but at an anemic
level. Around 1410 the NHK big guns on 594 and 693 hit their stride, rising up
to very good levels in and out until around 1430. 603-HLSA and 657-Pyongyang
both came out of the noise to reach a weak level during sunrise enhancement but
couldn't stick around for more than a few seconds at a time. The high band
sounded dreary for the duration, with only a rapidly fading 1556-HLAZ showing
up at the 1400 start time and an equally anemic 1575-VOA around 1425. The only
vibrant audio of the session was from the NHK regulars on 594 and 693-- for the
third day in a row.  Not much variety, but who can be picky in early March?
