Hello All, Asian recovery hit the skids this morning as even yesterday's fair-level 1566-HLAZ failed to show up. 738-Tahiti didn't seem much impressed by the lackluster propagation, either, as it failed to reach anything better than a poor level. 738-Tahiti was the only TP carrier on the band from 1300-1330 here, showing up with a modest signal in and out of the KCBS splatter. The only sign of Asian life was a weak carrier on 1575 around 1345, but it soon fizzled out without reaching the threshold level that it managed yesterday. On the other hand 1566-HLAZ didn't even manage a carrier, despite its fair performance yesterday. 738-Tahiti managed some brief audio at a poor level around 1400 but didn't stick around as long as it did yesterday, diving into the noise around 1405. Such was the story of propagation stuck somewhere between auroral and normal, with neither variety sounding very healthy. 73 and Good DX, Gary DeBock (in Puyallup, WA, USA) 7.5" loopstick C.Crane Skywave Ultralight + 15" FSL antenna _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca
