Brian,
Like others, "Reno's Oldies Station" would suffice for me too, but if
you want the actual call letters, just listen at the hour, as from what
I heard, that 's the only time the call letters are given.

I think "Reno's only station" would be even more persuasive, hi! I'm sure
it's KCKQ, but that just seems like a too generic of slogan. I'll try a
couple more times and if I don't get the call letters soon, I'll probably
go ahead and log it as "Slogan". It just seems like too "easy" of a
potential catch to not put more effort into it. I have certainly logged
things like "ESPN Boise" for 730-KNFL and similar.

Darn… I mean at Reno's oldies station would be enough for me to log it as
KC KQ. Auto correct got me on that one

I'm listening to presumed KCKQ ("Reno's oldies station") fighting a
mighty
battle with KOFI and occasionally KERN on my tuned loop pointed

usually presume that oldies on 1180 are KOFI since they play oldies at
night sometimes, but that's not the case right now. Unfortunately,
without
a webcast, at least that I can find, I need call letters from KCKQ to
log
it and I'm not having much luck with that yet.

I'm surprised that this made it up to Canada with KOFI 1180 right

would imagine they have to protect KERN in Bakersfield. Sure wish
that
they
