Yes, very strong via Japan remote Perseus, so definitely a new tx in 100 kW
range. Off at 1601. I think the ID Tianjin RGD, but still tentative.

Hiroyuki-san, I heard the same Chinese station mixing with 1566-HLAZ during an
ocean beach DXpedition on April 9 to Ocean Shores, Washington. The receiver is
the 7.5" loopstick CC Skywave Ultralight, with a 15" FSL antenna.

Hello All,
The new Chinese co-channel on 1566 kHz mixing with HLAZ has been noticed by a
Japanese DXer, and confirmed by Mauno Ritola to be a strong station. This
station was giving 1566-HLAZ some serious competition at times during last
week's Ocean Shores, Washington DXpedition. It seems odd that such a station
would set up on 1566 kHz, given HLAZ's powerful signal on the frequency in east
Asia.
