I heard them at sunset October 1, 1973.  Never was sure of the city's 
pronunciation, since Webster's Geographical Dictionary didn't have an entry for 
Calera.  Thanks to various YouTube postings from Alabama, I now know it's Kuh 
Leer Uh.

They're one of all too many 1370 "Fallen Flags" - anybody remember these, all 
listed in the 1991 NRC AM Radio Log?

Wickford RI
Holdenville OK
Deer Trail CO
Albia IA
Calera AL

1991 Log also lists Westlock AB, Parksville BC, Degelis QC and Valleyfield QC, 
all presumably gone to FM.  

Multiply this by the whole dial, and it's pretty grim.
