These logs are excerpts from my daily all-band reports, mainly SWBC, also
VHF/UHF, sometimes utility, ham, which may be found in several archives without
much delay, such as
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=Hauser

And compiled weekly along with extensive news from many other individuals and
publications in DX LISTENING DIGEST:
http://www.worldofradio.com/dxldmid.html

All my MW DX reports starting August 2011 are archived in this forum with open
access:
http://forums.wtfda.org/showthread.php?6543-MW-DX-from-Enid-OK-by-Glenn-Hauser/page34

All times and dates strictly UT. Rx: mostly DX-398 or PL-880 with internal
antenna only; Nissan stock caradio as specified; FRG-7 with E-W longwire as
specified

** MEXICO. 650, May 17 at 1125 UT, I am finally awake early enough for some
summer sunrise skip from some of my favorite Mexicans, regulars an hour or two
later in the winter. Here is Mexican oom-pah music from the WSW and owning the
frequency, no WSM or anything else, of course XETNT, Los Mochis, Sinaloa,
confirmed by ``Radio 65`` jingle at 1129, and a Sinaloa song, starting to fade
and gone by 1140 recheck.

Gaisma.com lacks a listing for Los Mochis! But interpolating between Culiacán
and Obregón, sunrise should be about 1227, an hour later than our Enid SR today
of 1123 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 730, May 17 at 1125 UT, hummy open carrier, altho hard to get a fix
on it, probably XEHB, 50/1 kW in Chihuahua, to go with SRS still in from 650
XETNT Sinaloa (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 1030, May 20 at 0612, just as I tune by, ``y 93.9 FM, Exa FM``.
WRTH, Cantú and IRCA show the only Exa on 1030 is XEMPM, 10/1 kW El Fuerte, or
Los Mochis, Sinaloa, which is a hotspot for MW DX to here. Except all show its
XHMPM on FM is 98.9, but I really thought they said 93.9. (Pronounced ``eksa``
-- you can never be quite sure about x`s in Mexican). Found website which
confirms it`s still 98.9: http://www.exafm.com/#!/losmochis/home

I was referring to a printout of the Cantú list I saved on Feb. 19, and now on
May 21, http://www.mexicoradiotv.com is ``temporarily unavailable`` says
Network Solutions! Fred was reported to be about to retire and looking for
someone else to take over the site. I hope this temp/un is a good rather than
bad sign (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
