Is 1.3 watts the correct night power, & how can I guess if it is using more?
Skywave watts probably don't have a proven maximum distance, but I was only
using the Tecsun PL-880 w/built-in ferrite bar. Man reading the weather, AM
1060 WHFB heard, along with promo for whfbradio.com/ Radio-locator says the 1.3
watts give them a good night groundwave signal to 5 miles. No KYW!
Recheck at 2:10am CDT hearing KYW mostly, other station at times equal but
mostly under KYW is *maybe* still WHFB. 73, George S., MN
