The talk format and slogan "The Talk To Me Station" is moving from 1300 WMEL Cocoa Beach to 1060 WIXC Titusville, FL. Presumably a call change will soon take place on 1060 to WMEL.. the calls had originally been on 920.
1300 is apparently silent right now, a friend in the market just checked for me. 1300 WMEL had been leased by John Harper from Rama Communications and they have no staff there now, so my estimated guess is that this station will remain silent for a bit until someone else ponies up the cash to lease it.. or possibly pop up as a simulcast of WOKB 1680 Winter Garden/Orlando.
