I'd certainly agree with those further west that today was signiciantly better than yesterday, only here in southern Alberta all the action continues to be DU. The star of the morning was, appropriately enough, New Zealand's 'Star' on 909 khz, which had its best level ever here.

702 unID Man talking at 1253

738 FRENCH POLYNESIA, Papeete
Fair to good level at 1251 with French vocal.

774 AUSTRALIA, Melbourne 3LO
Noted with man talking at 1252, and with ABC news fanfare at 1300

819 unID Man talking, (sounded like news) at 1303. Sounded more like New Zealand than Australia.

891 unID Weak, with man speaking at 1304

909 NEW ZEALAND, Christchurch 'Star'
Other than Tahiti, the uncontested top DU signal of the morning. Noted with end of weather, and ID at 1305.

981 unID Traces of music at 1258

1008 NEW ZEALAND, Tauranga Newstalk ZB
        Talk by man, //1035.

1026 unID Talk by a woman at 1258. Too weak to determine language.

1035 NEW ZEALAND, Wellington Newstalk ZB
First noted with man talking at 1253, // 1008.

1098 unID Traces fo man talking at 1302

1179 unID Traces of audio at 1254

1314 unID Only in for about 20 seconds, but seemed to be sports
commentary.

1386 NEW ZEALAND, Auckland Radio Tarana
Tentatively the one with Indian style music at 1305

1413 unID Traces of woman talking at 1257

1503 unID Sounded like a sports commentary, so likely Radio Sport.

Most of the signals would pop up for a minute or so, then vanish, making it very hard to determine parallels. Quite a number of others very close to audio, such as 657, 684, 855, 1107, 1116, and 1512.
