Walt and Colin have already described this morning's propagation very
accurately-- another session featuring the regular Japanese and Korean big
guns. There were a few second-tier Asians showing up weakly on 603, 657 and
738, but none of them could stick around for more than a few minutes at a time.

At my 1300 start time it seemed like the session might have some potential, as
the usual big guns on 594 (fair), 747 (fair), 972 (fair to good) and 1566
(good) were joined by threshold-level signals from 603-HLSA, 657-Pyongyang and
a presumed 738-BEL2. These three second-tier Asians continued to slide in and
out of the noise for the rest of the session, with 603-HLSA reaching a poor to
fair level with KBS2's deep-voiced male at 1346 (this was almost certainly
Colin's UnID). A wimpy sunrise enhancement failed to boost anything, although
693-JOAB, 747-JOIB, 972-HLCA and 1566-HLAZ all managed good levels at times
during the session. Best signal of the morning was from 972-HLCA with its
Korean male speech at 1351. Overall the session was somewhere between
lackluster and lame, with very little variety in the Asian signals.
