This DU-dead zone once again proved why it is the ultimate inspiration for
Oregon cliff visits.

In contrast to the excellent DU-DX reported by Walt and Nick and the
Australian-dominated session reported by Dennis, the best that this mediocre
location could manage from the south was ghostly African music from 738-Tahiti
around 1345. In contrast to yesterday there were several Asian carriers showing
up, though (weak ones on 558, 594 and 693), as well as a few ghostly audio
peaks on 1566 around 1315. The clunker session was almost enough to make
someone book summer visits to Manzanita, Oregon--  9 months early.
