I would like to thank all of you who took the time and effort to respond to my request for information about the Palstar MW550P MW preselector. Based on your comments, since I will be using vintage receivers (HQ-140X, NRD-515, and Drake R-7) for AM-BCB DXing, this unit should be a good fit.
BTW, I should also mention that posts from this group have me looking at the Wellbrook small magnetic loops rather than the better known Inlogis (Pixel) units.
