It was another interesting session this morning as a sharp sunrise enhancement
after 1500 boosted up a couple of low and high band Chinese stations, including
1593-CNR1. The propagation fell a little bit short of yesterday's level,
however.

At my 1430 start time the band sounded fairly subdued in the predawn darkness,
with only fair signals from 594-JOAK, 693-JOAB and 1566-HLAZ in and out.
Increasing daylight around 1440 brought both a weak 603-China (no HLSA this
morning) and a presumed 738-BEL2 out of the noise, along with relatively
subdued signals from both 1575-VOA and 1593-CNR1. By 1500 the increasing
daylight gave somewhat of a boost to 603-China (managing poor to fair audio)
and a major boost to 1593-CNR1, which ended up with good signals in and out of
the Seattle splatter (but not quite up to yesterday's level). The Asian
propagation seemed to bail quite a bit earlier than yesterday's, also, without
much TP audio after 1515. The number of Japanese and Korean big guns reaching
good audio levels this morning was also reduced significantly, with only 594,
693 and 1566 managing short peaks at energetic levels. Overall the session was
above average for this dreary month, but somewhat of a drop off after
yesterday's dramatic 1593-CNR1 performance.
