Hi everyone -
First, congratulations Colin on the great new website! It's looking really good already. I have noticed that pretty much all of the loggings of RNE show as 'synchros' rather than a tx site. I understand that the transmissions are synchronized for a particular network and so exact site isn't possible to know, however I see on MWLIST for say 1152 kHz that there is a note regarding the announcements or the slogan (I'm not sure which) that would seem to distinguish them. Is it possible to identify sites based on this slogan? If not, what is the notation in MWLIST for? Thanks Jim and Mark for the tips! Mark, I am not sure how to distinguish the two signals on 1575 - I must look at the IF spectrum (right?), and I can always see what frequency the ECSS locks onto, but I haven't used this sort of thing before and I'm sure it has a bunch of functionality I'm not getting the most of. The ELAD manual doesn't quite hit the same level of performance that the machine does. Nick I hope they do make it over the pole before they go away, but like you I sadly think that they may not. Thanks for the info on the ID. Here's a couple from today. I'm also getting sporadic AA audio on 711 at 0058UTC mixed with (less) French. The UK isn't so big today, Spain is good. 1.
