The December doldrums were in full display this morning as Asian signals never
reached audio level here. Ghostly carriers on 828 and 972 around 1540 were the
only signs of Asian life, and even 738 couldn't manage a carrier during the
sunrise period.

All the action seems to be in a Japanese Facebook group, where Hiroyuki Okamura
reported reception of music presumed from Laos on 705 kHz on his WinRadio
G31DDC and ALA1530LNP loop*.
