Earlier this year I sent my R8A to John Kriner for a check up. He did a great
job! He also found and replaced a failed component. My R8A is doing great now.

This last summer the Drake R8 had
problems and did not work very well so this week I sent it
to John Kriner in Ohio for repair. The turn around for
repair is 4-6 weeks so for now I will be using the ICOM
IC-R75. The R75 is nice but it is not a Drake R8!
