Apart from some thrilling signals on 774 and 972 kHz (Japan and Korea)
today was an example of average and calm -
There were brief blips from a couple of not so often heard stations like
Japan on 873 (with full parallel to 774)

On the upper band, the "handful" on 1557, 1566, 1575 and 1593
came in for one or two minutes with their typical fair.

Very little noted upper mid-band
and virtual no lower band made any appearances.

Receiver: Drake R8
Antennas: Wellbrook ALA100 and an W/NW Flag with FLG100 Wellbrook
remote controlled by a DIY Vactrol - patched through a
Misek/Ratzlaff/Lankford Phaser
