** U S A. Glenn, I have been listening to KXEL on 1540 AM for the last ten
years or so. They started running an announcement for the last few days about
the FCC possibly reducing their nighttime coverage area. They asked listeners
to go to their website and sign the petition here:

This request may be a first, at least for the last couple of decades or so.
