I almost never lose power, even during the worst of windstorms. Today, however, it was out for 5 hours. I did a brief bandscan on the Tecsun - the locals stayed on except possibly 1230 and 1400.

Pretty blustery here in Tacoma this afternoon but it has calmed down
considerably. A semi got blown over on he Narrows Bridge. My wife drove over to
Bellevue but came back rather quickly lest the bridge closed before she
returned. A few blinks earlier but no power outages for us. Apparently there
are about 45,000 peeps up north who weren’t so lucky. If our power goes out, I
hop on 1350-1370 since if ours goes out, KKMO’s does too. It is about a mile
away.

Victoria B.C. Currently get whacked by strong winds and rain - gusts appear

How are the folks in Seattle, Puyallup and Seaside doing?
