I logged a new station this morning, 3/26/16. WNDZ, 750 kHz, Portage! Indiana (15 kW @ 1058 km/658 mi) was heard at 1159-1206 UTC. Station signed on at 1159 with woman saying "Good morning, this is WNDZ, Portage, Indiana", followed by a man speaking Spanish at 1200. The signal faded away at 1206. ULR station #1056 (barefoot #1043). Receiver: Sony SRF-T615.
Sadly, because of personal health issues, WNDZ is the first new station heard here since last April. I returned to using my tiny, mighty-mite SRF-T615 receiver this week. It's the one I'd logged most of my ULR stations on, including my first six Japanese stations. Recently, I've experimented using it with an 8-inch FSL with success. It's absolutely the best ultralight receiver, especially for domestic DXing. Good DX everyone. Richard Allen, near Perry OK USA.
