I took advantage of the high K-index last evening (3/3/16) to listen for Latin American DX hearing mostly Cuban stations.
0107 GMT 670 Radio Rebelde, good signal // 5025 kHz. Sounded like a baseball game. 0117 GMT 710 WAQI Miami FL, fair with moderate Radio Rebelde QRM. 0121 GMT 770 XEACH, Radio Formula, good with slight unID QRM. 0130 GMT 530 Radio Enciclopedia, fair with light music. 0136 GMT 540 XEWA, good. 0147 GMT 590 Radio Musical Nacional, fair with orchestral music. 0207 GMT 610 Radio Rebelde, poor. 0211 GMT 640 Radio Progresso, fair with ID and música Cubana. 0220 GMT 720 YNRC, Radio Catholic, poor to fair, fading under XEJCC @ 0229. 0231 GMT 730 KKDA, fair with popular music and Korean language announcements. No sign of usual XEX. 0257 GMT 760 unID signal from southeast with música romantica, poor to fair, fading under WJR at 0321. It wasn't Radio Progresso. 0353 GMT 760 Radio Progresso, //640 poor u/WJR.
