A couple TPs heard this morning; the star was 774 Japan with EE lessons,
rising to medium level for easy understanding what was being said by the
man and woman. 1566 HLAZ never came close to that level.
I put my E/W longwire up again, this time 220 feet from the parallel
powerline and that made all the difference. S9 hum level before, S2.5
level now, and weak signals can now be heard. It's bidirectional of
course and is no match for the DKAZ with its east null (toward Tucson).
Nulling some of the domestic splatter to the east makes all the
difference on these western TPs!
