Asian propagation dropped off significantly this morning as only a few big gun
TP's managed to come up with any real energy. A dreary band in the predawn
darkness didn't get much of a sunrise enhancement boost, and the second-tier
Asians stayed down in the noise.

Early on at 1310 only 747-JOIB, the 1053-Jammer and 1566-HLAZ had much strength
(fair to good), while the usual Japanese big guns on 594, 693, 774 and 828 were
sounding anemic. The second-tier Asians which had been so numerous over the
weekend (on 603, 657, 738, 936 and other frequencies) stayed at weak carrier
level, and the only somewhat positive note was a fair signal from 1575-VOA late
on around 1325. 1134-JOQR also came up in strength to a fair level around the
same time, but overall the session was pretty mediocre. Best signals
(temporarily good) were from the 1053-Jammer and 1566-HLAZ around 1315.
