I noticed a comment from Glenn Hauser about 1098. Just so happens that I
returned home after a baby delivery, about 12:15 AM (07:15 UTC). There was
a pretty darn good carrier on 1098, in fact the strongest on the band. The
Marshall Islands are in darkness, of course by then, and Japan, Korea,
China are still in daylight (as is Australia, but not New Zealand). Based
on that, it's highly probable that it is V7AB. I'll have to pay more
attention to this frequency henceforth! 73, Walt Salmaniw, Victoria, BC
