The end results as listed below are quite typical, but the route to get there was remarkable this morning. When I first checked the dials just before 1300 it was if someone had stolen my antenna in the night. Not only were the TPs missing, so were most of the domestic stations. I'd say at least 2/3 of the domestic channels were empty. After checking my antenna connections I checked the 1200 recording, and I was getting signals then, so evidently it was a blackout caused by solar shenanigans of some sort. After about 15 minutes things starting coming back, and I wound up with a lot of DU carriers, and some audio, including Newstalk ZB at its best level of the season. I'm sure my recording has a few other snippets of audio, but I don't have time to check it today, as the job has me back on the road today. Interestingly the DU signals seemed to recover from the disturbance more rapidly than the North American ones.
