Hmmm..
Well it appears that an unexpected benefit of using banana plugs rather than BNC connectors in DKAZ construction is that when a deer runs amok at the antenna with enough force to snap 14 ga hard drawn copper, it simply pulls the banana plugs out rather than completely destroys the connector at the box.
