An anemic collection of Asian big guns showed up at peak dawn enhancement this
morning but none of them sounded very energetic. 594-JOAK (poor), 774-JOUB
(poor), 972-HLCA (barely audible), the 1053-Jammer (poor), 1566-HLAZ (poor to
fair) and 1593-CNR1 (poor) seemed to peak around 1500 here, then quickly
tapered off in strength. Whereas yesterday 1566 and 1593 both managed fair
Chinese audio at this time neither one was quite as strong this morning. Of
course all the second tier Asians all stayed at weak carrier level-- further
confirmation that Asian propagation still has a long way to go before getting
out of the slump of the past four weeks.
