Hi Chris, Thanks for your comments on the Korean TP's, and any corrections on the station locations. I'm sure that you are far more knowledgeable about these stations and transmitters than any of us (who have been stuck here on this side of the big pond).
When Asian conditions are really good 603-HLSA (Happy FM/ KBS2 program) mixes with a Chinese station presumed to be in Hulun Buir, and there was a little of that this morning. When those two TP's really pound in they can create a very nasty snarl on the frequency, and either one can end up on top. I might add that the host of the KBS2 long-set music program this morning around 1530 was apparently the same deep-voiced male that had the job from 2013-2016, instead of the sweet-voiced female that seemed to replace him early last year. 657-Pyongyang B.S. is far and away the most powerful MW signal from the North here on the west coast, and it shows up routinely when conditions are good. Unfortunately decent programming doesn't seem to be its strong point. 972-HLCA rivals 1566-HLAZ as the strongest signal from the South here, and I've often enjoyed listening to its Korean oldie music (along with the KBS2 program on 603-HLSA).
