Happy World radio day everyone! Dig this: yesterday I put up an end fed 80 through 10 meter shortwave antenna array - it has 4 fly points from 3 bamboo poles (ea. 25 -35ft high) and a birch tree.
I use it with a 10-watt ICOM all band transceiver and a 100-Watt Kenwood all band transceiver. Yesterday I checked into a B.C. Wide emergency net on 3729 KHz running 10 watts - The antenna even tuned up on the 160 meter band (1820 KHz) which blew my mind. Radio rules!
