There was low band action between 1100 and 1200UT this morning according to the signal strength monitor (NetSDR not recording yet), but things had mostly faded out by 1300UT, with a small sunrise lift....and then there was HLAZ, which didn't rouse itself from slumber until well after local sunrise at 1520UT, peaking about an hour later, and generally showing audio traces almost continuously until after 1700UT

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ woman in Korean 1622UT, with another woman agreeing; returning at nearly this strength at 1640UT with choral music.

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

the above passing through

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

612 pop music 1510UT, likely 4QR

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

594 man mumbling 1521UT, same strength west and north Flags, so likely JOAK
702 man and woman talking, DU English inflection 1516-7UT
738 woman talking 1525-6UT, definitely stronger on west Flag, likely 2NR
774 JOUB man and woman talking 1455UT, seemed //828
828 JOBB pretty low level man and woman talking 1459UT, pips 1500UT
1116 man talking, DU English inflection 1522UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

747 972 1134 1242 1287 1575 seemed to be Asian; 1098 likely DU

best wishes,

Nick
