band action here happened well before sunrise, but the upper band, which
was dead earlier on had some life in the half hour prior to sunrise.

instead talk by a man, then ABC news fanfare at 1200.
828 JOBB Osaka, JAPAN Poor, with man and woman in Japanese, at 1407.
1098 V7AB Majuro, MARSHALL IS Island style vocal at 1047.
1116 4BC Brisbane, AUSTRALIA Poor, with news by a woman at 1202.
1548 4QD Emerald, AUSTRALIA Fair through 1550 splatter with vocal from
the 80's at 1441.
1566 HLAZ Jeju, S.KOREA Fair to good with man in Chinese at
1435.
1701.03 unID AUSTRALIA Koran recitations noted at 1430 for about 10
minutes.
Several other X-band carriers too, with 1611 and 1629 both close to audio.
