Hello Paul (and Chris),

My favorite recording of 657-Pyongyang is from 1330 UTC on September 18, 2010.
The ionosphere suddenly pulls the plug on Pyongyang's tirade lady, who is
completely wiped out by the relatively obscure 657-China (presumed Henan) by 40
seconds into the recording. China then proceeds to build up strength until it
reaches a near S9 level with music around 3:30 into the recording-- leaving
Pyongyang completely in the dust. This was recorded on a C.Crane SWP Ultralight
and 9 foot PVC box loop in my back yard in Puyallup (during a great solar
season, before the days of FSL antennas)

Nice, of course, but 657 is Pyongyang Broadcasting, not KCBS *poke*.

I'd not correct you maybe, except I thought it would have been driven into
your head the last two times :) The networks tend to be ... a little ...
different.
