Eclipse DXing on AM and longwave was a total bust here. Storms came through at about 0700 CLT, but the lightning static stayed around for hours and essentially turned both bands into pans of frying bacon. Around 1230 CLT, I gave up and went over to FM, where I had much better results. Boosted my logbook here from 117 to 140 in a matter of a few hours. Trop-like conditions, very nice.
