Hi Mark, I do exactly what you're trying to do by using a pair of unterminated BOGs (Beverage On the Ground). The parallel BOG wires (via matching transformers and coax) are connected to a phasing box (such as the Quantum Phaser by DX Tools). This will give you east-west reversibility from the shack with deep nulls. This is simple to deploy and all the components are available off the shelf. As you may have gathered from my DU reports this week, this setup rocks if you have the space!
You may also want to consider a reversible DKAZ or similar terminated loop. Mark Durenberger has a clever remote controller circuit using relays and Vactrols to accomplish this. As far as I know, there's no off-the-shelf solution and you'll have to roll your own like I did for my north-south reversible DKAZ. 73, Tim Tromp West Michigan On Sat, Sep 2, 2017 at 2:25 PM, Mark Pettifor <[email protected]> wrote: > What is your favorite way of implementing a reversible beverage? > > For example, I have a lot of real estate (well, a farmer's field) to my > east.
